Scott Bommer, senior managing director and chief investment officer of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management’s $2 billion Horizon crossover platform, will leave at the end of June.

Mr. Bommer, who joined BAAM in 2021, is leaving the company for personal reasons, said a spokeswoman.

Mr. Bommer was not available for comment.

The managers of the crossover Horizon platform seek investment in fast-growing public and private companies.

About half of the $2 billion earmarked for investment in the Horizon platform has been invested to date.

Mr. Bommer’s responsibilities will be shifted to an investment committee led by Joe Dowling, senior managing director and global head of BAAM, confirmed the spokeswoman.

As of the most recent date, BAAM’s assets under management totaled $81 billion.
